Marta Regis is a researcher and university lecturer at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Eindhoven University of Technology and is affiliated with the Teaching and Research Institute for Data Science Analytics (TRI-DSA).

Her research focuses on the development and application of advanced statistical models for data collected through repeated measurements, including longitudinal models with latent variables and models for high-frequency time series, such as physiological signals.

In close collaboration with healthcare researchers, she is committed to bridging the gap between scientific research and clinical practice. By applying advanced statistical methods to clinical challenges, while at the same time using real-world clinical problems as a source of scientific innovation, she develops solutions that are both methodologically robust and socially relevant.

Marta obtained a double Master's degree in Industrial and Applied Mathematics from Politecnico di Torino and Eindhoven University of Technology, graduating with highest honors.
